Levonelle 1500 1500mcg Tablet POM, R x1

Levonelle 1500 is an emergency hormonal contraceptive containing levonorgestrel 1500 micrograms. It is intended for use within 72 hours (3 days) of unprotected sexual intercourse or contraceptive failure, such as a missed pill or condom breakage. The tablet works primarily by delaying or preventing ovulation to reduce the chance of pregnancy.

Important Information:
Levonelle 1500 should be taken as soon as possible after unprotected intercourse. It does not protect against sexually transmitted infections (STIs) and should not be used as a regular method of contraception. If vomiting occurs within 3 hours of taking the tablet, medical advice should be sought as another dose may be required.
